Malik, AKA The Smix, has been rocked by funky, Dis­co, Soul and Jazz since his was ear­ly child­hood lis­ten­ing to local radios.

He start­ed mix­ing at the age of 16, in the 70s, and dur­ing his stud­ies in France he joined the first move­ment of new FM radios and worked as a DJ in dif­fer­ent Night-Clubs and Radios. 

Back in his coun­try, he worked as DJ pro­duc­er in dif­fer­ent radios & Clubs push­ing his style and his influences.

Today he is retired but always pas­sion­ate for House Music and plays as a DJ for the joy.

His favorite gen­res of House Music are: Soul­ful, Deep, Tech, Pro­gres­sive and Afro, but he still plays time to time, Dis­co and Funky of the 70s & 80s.

For more than a year, The Smix has decid­ed to pub­lish his Sets exclu­sive­ly on Mix­cloud and pod­cast plat­forms such as Spo­ti­fy and Apple Pod­cast. He returns recent­ly to Djing, but only in pri­vate VIP parties. 

He also pro­duces and broad­casts Week­ly shows on My House Radio (New York) and Aegean Lounge Radio (Spain).
