We had a wonderful stay at La Corte sul Rio Freddo as a family of four! The apartment was beautifully renovated and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having two modern bathrooms was a big advantage for our family.
Communication was smooth. One of the highlights was the host’s kindness and responsiveness — every question or request we had was handled quickly and with care, which made us feel very well looked after.
The location is quiet and very convenient — just a short walk to the tram stop, supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants. It was also very easy to reach the city center and Careggi hospital by tram. It was the perfect base for both exploring and relaxing.
We would absolutely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth and pleasant stay in the city.

I lived in this apartment for three months and honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place. The flat is beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need to live comfortably, whether for a short stay or a longer one. A huge bonus is the mezzanine level with a washing machine, which makes everyday life incredibly convenient.
The apartment has a charming Italian style, with terracotta floors, elegant furniture, and stunning wooden beams on the ceiling that give it so much character. From the bedroom, there is a lovely view of the garden, where pomegranate and persimmon trees grow—it’s peaceful and truly magical.
The host is quite simply the nicest person in the world. Extremely kind, well-organized, and always ready to help with absolutely anything—you really feel taken care of from the very first day.
The neighborhood is calm and away from the tourist crowds, which I really appreciated, yet the city center is easily accessible with a direct tram ride that takes only 15 minutes. The surrounding area has everything you could need: shops, cafés, restaurants, and places to enjoy a drink. On top of that, it’s just a 10-minute walk to Rifredi station, from where you can easily travel by train to most destinations in Tuscany.
I spent a truly wonderful time here and would recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone looking for comfort, beauty, and an authentic local experience.
